REOPENING OF OUR PRACTICE 

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety.


Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and you may have seen this during your visit to our office. Our office follows infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and we’ve always followed the strict guidelines set forth by the Occupational Safety and Health Organization (OSHA).  There are also new strict guidelines by the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene that we must adhere to and you will see their certification displayed.


You may see some changes when it's time for your next appointment. 

We've made these changes to help protect our patients and staff during these new trying times. 

Telemedicine Appointments: A majority of you have transitioned well to virtual visits. We will continue utilizing Doxy.me for ALL non-urgent visits. Patients will be asked to complete a TeleHealth Consent form from Jotform prior to all virtual appointments. No phlebotomy will be performed at our office and ALL patients will be required to go to Labcorp or Quest Patient Service Centers. Exceptions will only be considered on a case-by-case basis.


The NO WALK-IN appointments policy that began with the COVID-19 pandemic will be continued indefinitely.


Yosihealth **Coming Soon**

We will soon begin transitioning to Yosihealth. Online booking of appointments, pre-arrival intake, and registration will be done remotely via this new platform. We will only accept no contact payments.


All paperwork MUST be received before you come into the office.We know this may be a challenge for some patients who are not technologically advanced, but it is an easy process that we are more than happy to assist you with should you need any help. 


Appointment Check In. To minimize the amount of foot traffic in the office and ensure we adhere to the new social distancing guidelines of patients and staff, patients are now required to check-in while in the car. We no longer have an open waiting room. When you arrive for your appointment, please call our office to let us know you are here. We will then advise you to either come in or wait while we prepare your room. Patients will be asked to complete a COVID-19 Pre-Screening form upon arrival for office appointments. Patients are required to wear a mask when entering the office.


Sanitation. We have hand sanitizers that you will be asked to use when you enter the office and a front desk associate will use a no-touch forehead thermometer to check your temperature.


No Gloves: Please remove your gloves and dispose of accordingly in the trash before entering our office.


Closed waiting area. You will see that our waiting room will no longer offer magazines as these items are difficult to clean and disinfect.


Limited Appointments. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.


Space between patients. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times for you, as well as to reduce the number of patients in the reception area at any one time. We will clean and sanitize patient rooms and any contact areas between patients before and after each patient consultation.


Limitations on Companions: Only one person will be allowed to accompany each patient who has a confirmed appointment.


Limitations on Face to Face Appointments:

We can only accommodate one appointment at a time because of the current pandemic.. 


UV Air Purifiers are placed in each exam room to help sanitize air and surfaces from virus, bacteria, and contaminants..


We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we have taken to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience. We will do our best to service all our patience in a timely fashion.
